Despite rising costs globally, our healthcare partner Barbados Fertility Centre (BFC) are proud to announce that they are NOT increasing the cost of fertility treatment in 2023! The leadership team are committed to keeping fertility treatment affordable and most importantly available to their patients.
Anna Hosford, Clinic Director at BFC said, “We know that people are going through tough times right now, so we don’t want fertility treatment to be an extra financial worry. We understand how costly fertility treatment is, so we want our patients to rest assured we aren’t increasing prices in line with inflation. Our patients have always valued transparency and reliability from us when it comes to pricing.”
ECONOMIC GLOBAL CRISIS
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused massive disruption to the economy globally. Many IVF clinics have had no choice but to increase treatment costs to stay afloat. BFC has also seen an increase in costs due to inflation, but they have decided that raising prices isn’t an option, because it would be an additional financial burden on already stressed patients.
Anna continued, “It’s no secret that the cost of living has been rising, making it difficult for many people to meet their financial obligations. At BFC, we value our patients and want to do our best to keep prices low and affordable for everyone. That’s why we have decided not to pass on the rising costs to our patients.”
ABSORBING COSTS
Dr. Juliet Skinner, Medical Director at BFC added, “As a business, we have had to face over a 20% rise in our operational costs. We pride ourselves on delivering personalised care to our patients and despite these rising costs, we are committed to finding alternative ways to absorb them without passing on additional cost burdens to our patients. Efficiency is key when it comes to keeping prices down. This efficiency ensures every patient receives exceptional personalised care with us. We are able to remain competitively priced while maintaining high levels of quality fertility treatment and of course, success.”
