What is it?
Coronavirus Ag Rapid Test Cassette (Swab)TM is an in vitro immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of nucleocapsid protein antigen from SARS-CoV-2 in nasopharyngeal (NP) swab specimens provided by patients suspected of contracting COVID19. As such, it aids in the rapid diagnosis of these patients.
How does it work?
Coronavirus Ag Rapid Test Cassette (Swab)TM comes as a pack of 20 ready-to-use cassettes. Each cassette comes with a nasopharangeal swab, which is applied via the patient’s nostril to gather an appropriate sample.
The sample is treated with the supplied buffer solution, and then introduced to the cassette. Results are then available in 15 minutes.
