This 1 hour seminar looks at document and record keeping in line with NMC code. This course covers:
- Requirement for all fertility nurses to keep accurate records
- Communicating clearly verbally and in writing with your team to ensure best practice
- Information must be processed fairly, lawfully and transparently
- Department of Health guidance
- Understand the reasons for processing personal information
- Consent for the disclosure and use of personal information
- Patients understanding their rights to access information held on them
- Patient confidentiality
- Data protection.
After watching the seminar, attendees are asked to complete an evaluation in order to receive their certificate of attendance worth 1 CPD point.
This course is ideal for newly qualified nurses or experienced nurses who are new to fertility. This course is also useful for experienced nurses to highlight gaps in knowledge or for nurses who wish to progress to management or advanced practitioner level.
