Reproductive Medicine for Primary Care – now available to stream in modules

Four the UK’s NHS leading fertility experts have come together to host a virtual seminar series for their primary care colleagues. The programme has been developed by:

Mr. H Borase, Lead Fertility Consultant, West Herts Hospital NHS Trust.

Mr. H Bhandari, Consultant Gynaecologist, Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust.

 

Mr. Y Jeve, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Birmingham Women’s Hospital NHS Trust.

 

Mr. G S Kalra, Clinical Director and Consultant Reproductive Medicine & Surgery, Welsh NHS IVF Service, Wales Fertility Institute.

These four specialists have developed a comprehensive module of reproductive health study designed for GPs, Trainees and Practice Nurses in the primary care setting.

The series is split across 10 modules for you to stream at your convenience. You can register for all 10 sessions or you can just sign up for each module as and when you have time to complete your studies. The course is available for 6 months.

Module one covers:

Reproductive Endocrinology – Mr. Yadava Jeve, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Birmingham Women’s Hospital NHS Trust

Module two covers:

An overview of infertility – Mr. Harish Bhandari, MBBS, MD, MRCOG Consultant Gynaecologist, Sub-Specialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, UK

Life-style and reproductive health – Dr. Devasree Mitra, Speciality Senior Trainee in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, West Herts NHS Trust.

Module three covers:

Fertility problems: Assessment and advice in primary care and referral pathways  – Mr. Himanshu Borase, Lead Fertility Consultant, West Herts Hospital NHS Trust

Evaluation and management of ovulation disorders- Mr G S Kalra, Clinical Director and Consultant Reproductive Medicine & Surgery at the Welsh NHS IVF Service Wales Fertility Institute and Consultant Gynaecologist at Singleton Hospital, Swansea Bay, University Health Board

Module four covers:
