Can you share your by experience of sperm donation? If so, a new website has been set up by Leeds Beckett University in the UK. The purpose of this site is to investigate the experiences of recipients and sperm donors.
Online sperm donation is a relatively new phenomenon and so there is a lack of research in the area. The researchers would like to hear from anyone who is considering or has experience of online sperm donation.
If you are thinking about using donor sperm or are some way into your journey you can share your experience anonymously.
The website has been designed for recipients to post their stories of donor-conception, and offers participants the following:
– Opportunity to hear and learn about each other’s experiences
– To connect with the researchers via the Get Involved page and to add further insights by taking part in interviews.
Participants are anonymous, and all posts will be moderated with data kept securely in compliance with General Data Protection Regulation.
The Fertility Hub will be publishing this valuable research when it is completed. We look forward to the insights gained by the author.
