This 4 hour seminar looks at document and record keeping. This course covers:
- Policy for document keeping in line with Department of Health guidelines
- Policy for document keeping in line with Nursing and Midwifery Council guidelines
- Policy for document keeping in line with HFEA guidelines
- Clear and accurate document keeping
- Reporting all information to team members
- Knowledge of forms to complete for specific procedures
- Generating electronic records in line with HFEA code of practice
- Training of junior members of the team
- Communication with relevant bodies on record keeping ASRM, HFEA, British Fertility Society, RCOG, ACOG.
After watching the seminar, attendees are asked to complete an evaluation in order to receive their certificate of attendance worth 4 CPD points.
This course is ideal for newly qualified nurses or experienced nurses who are new to fertility. This course is also useful for experienced nurses to highlight gaps in knowledge or for nurses who wish to progress to management or advanced practitioner level.
