This 2 hour seminar looks at safeguarding children and adults. This course covers:
- Understanding safeguarding guidance and policy
- HFEA code of practice
- Understanding Mental Capacity Act
- Recognising the signs of abuse, neglect and violence
- Referral process to external agencies
- Training junior member of the team.
After watching the seminar, attendees are asked to complete an evaluation in order to receive their certificate of attendance worth 2 CPD points.
This course is ideal for newly qualified nurses or experienced nurses who are new to fertility. This course is also useful for experienced nurses to highlight gaps in knowledge or for nurses who wish to progress to management or advanced practitioner level.
