Well now you can because Barbados Fertility Centre are recruiting an Experienced Fertility Nurse. If you have a strong IVF nursing background and the capability to coordinate treatment cycles independently, then we want to hear from you!
Barbados Fertility Centre is a JCI accredited centre of excellence for IVF, operating a busy, patient-focused clinic completing approximately 55–60 fresh and frozen cycles each month. They are now looking for a hands-on, adaptable clinical professional who shares the collective passion of helping patients achieve their dream of a family.
Key Role Responsibilities
* Independent Cycle Coordination: Oversee and manage IVF and frozen embryo transfer (FET) cycles autonomously from initial protocol setup through to post-transfer care
* Patient Care & Education: Deliver compassionate, high-touch patient support, medication instruction & support, protocol guidance and procedural preparation
* Clinical Assistance: Support physicians and clinical staff during ultrasound monitoring, egg retrievals, embryo transfers and blood sampling
* Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Maintain seamless communication across nursing, laboratory, medical and administrative departments.
Mandatory Candidate Requirements
* Previous IVF/Fertility Nursing Background: Specific experience in fertility or IVF nursing is required
* Clinical Autonomy: Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions during cycle management
* Team & Cultural Fit: Adaptable, hands-on approach with a strong collaborative mindset suitable for a tight-knit team environment.
Compensation & Salary

* 20 days paid annual leave + 12 public holidays per year

Schedule & Contract Structure
* Contract Duration: Full-time position, normally offered on a minimum three-year contract.
* Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
* Cycle Variations: Occasional weekend duty or on-call work required depending on treatment cycle timing.
