Dr. César Díaz García, MD, PhD, MPH is the medical director of IVI London. His scientific career has been devoted to the field of fertility preservation, with special interest on ovarian cortex transplantation, uterus transplantation, poor response in IVF and follicular activation. He previously coordinated of the Fertility Preservation Unit at La Fe University Hospital, one of the largest Fertility Preservation programmes worldwide.
Dr. Diaz combines his clinical duties with active research and teaching at IVI Foundation, the University of Valencia and University College London. He is a former Associate Editor of Human Reproduction, current Associate Editor of Human Reproduction Update and ad-hoc reviewer for different journals and he has published more than 60 peer-reviewed scientific papers and book chapters.
10 minutes isn’t long to investigate infertility
We are delighted to have Dr. Diaz’s extensive clinical experience coupled with his innovative research background to give us an overview of all factors that impact female fertility. We understand that a 10 minute appointment is not long to understand a couple’s fertility history! However, with so many advances in reproductive medicine the aim of the study day is to update primary healthcare providers on the latest techniques and tests available with and without the need for referral.
